Simple Portfolio Template for Language Learners

1. "My Language Journey" Cover Page
- 📛Name/Avatar: A drawing, photo, or nickname.
- 🎯My Goal: One sentence (e.g., "I want to order food in Spanish!" or "I will read a book in English!").
- 💖My Favorite Word: Write or draw it.
2. "My Work" Section
Divide into 3–4 categories; add to it over time.
- 🎤Speaking: Audio/video clips (even 10 seconds!), dialogues, or presentations.
- ✏️Writing: Sentences, stories, or journal entries (with dates).
- 🎧Listening/Reading: Notes on a song, podcast, or article they understood (e.g., "I listened to 'Hello' by Adele and recognized 5 words!").
- 🌍Cultural Connections: Photos, tickets, or drawings from cultural experiences (e.g., a recipe, festival, or conversation with a native speaker).
3. "My Progress" Timeline
- A simple line with 3–5 "milestones" (e.g., "September: Learned greetings!", "December: Had my first conversation!").
- Use stickers, colors, or emojis to mark emotions (😊 for proud, 😅 for challenging).
4. "My Reflection" Page
Answer 1–2 questions per month/term:
- What was hard? What was fun?
- What do I want to learn next?
- How do I feel about my progress? (Draw a face or use a scale: 😢→😊)
5. "My Celebrations"
- A space for compliments, certificates, or "wins" (e.g., "I understood a joke in class!").

- Empowering: The focus is on effort and curiosity, not perfection.
